Where does the name Bali kratom come from
There is a story that the first or one of the first kratom sellers to start selling kratom internationally lived in Bali. He or others then started using the name Bali kratom and this name became mainstream. I don’t know if this story is correct or partially correct or completely incorrect.
There is also a story that the name Bali kratom originated because kratom used to be shipped abroad from Bali.
In any case, no kratom is harvested (as far as we know) on the island of Bali. It may well be that there are kratom trees planted here and there in Bali or that some people grow a cutting or several in their garden and use the leaves, but kratom comes almost exclusively from Kalimantan.
