Via kratomshop.nl you can order our fresh top quality kratom directly from the harvest areas in West Kalimantan (Kapuas Hulu). We buy our kratom powders directly from the producers in Kalimantan.
Our harvesters are hand-picked after a long selection process. We also regularly go to Kalimantan to visit our producers for quality control, among other things. All our kratom powders are made from the mature leaves of old trees. Our powder is finely ground.

Kapuas Hulu one of the last jungle strongholds in Indonesia. 25% of the land area in the district is still covered by primary rainforest. The kratom sector (management, cultivation, planting, harvesting, picking, drying and selling) of kratom is one of the pillars of the economy in Kapuas Hulu.
The residents of Kapuas know better than anyone that a large and healthy rainforest habitat is crucial for the harvest of high-quality and potent kratom leaves. The best kratom is found in the primary rainforest. Kratom grown in secondary forest or on (oil palm) plantations is less potent and often of lower quality.
This is probably one of the most important reasons that there is still so much primary forest in Kapuas Hulu. The kratom in the primary rainforests is picked sustainably (no damage to the tree and surrounding trees). The leaves of primary kratom trees are more resistant to pests compared to leaves from plantation trees, so pesticides are not necessary for leaf preservation.
The opportunity to make money with kratom leaves promotes sustainable forest management and ensures that local people have an economic reason to want to keep the forest healthy and thriving. Not least thanks to kratom, the forest ensures a better standard of living for the local population.
How i got to know kratom
My first introduction to kratom was in 2011 during a stay in Jakarta (the capital of Indonesia). At that time I was suffering from depression due to private circumstances. Indonesia and especially Jakarta is not a good place to be depressed. During this period I happened to meet someone with whom I shared my problem. He noticed that something was wrong with me. This person told me that he knew of a remedy that might help to alleviate the symptoms of my depression.
I went to his Kos (Boarding House in Indonesia) the next day where I had my first taste of kratom. He made the kratom with very strong hot coffee and lots of sugar. It tasted awful and I had trouble keeping it down. That night I couldn’t sleep and felt restless and wanted to go outside. (I had developed social anxiety during my depression and an important symptom of this is that you do not want or even dare to go outside). So this was really a sign that the kratom was working. I also felt better about myself.
I knew I had to take advantage of this and so I went out to some cafe where I was known. I had a nice time in the cafe for the first time in a long time. Previously when I went out I was so negative that no one dared or wanted to socialize with me. Now it worked and I felt much better when I got home.
The person who introduced me to kratom sold me about half a kilo, which was enough for a month. Just the feeling that I had kratom and that it could help me was enough to make the depression a lot more bearable. I wasn’t cured, but I could now deal with it better. I slowly healed because I was able to get out and do things and meet people again.
So the kratom helped me in this situation and in 2013 I decided to open my own online store to try to sell kratom because I really supported the product and wanted to share it with as many people as possible.
